Good Afternoon!

Here are the phone numbers for Kelly Henneberry:
857-1656 (home), 826-9140 ext.3 (she'll be at work tomorrow).  She is currently on maternity leave, and is at work a few times per week.  She is fine with you calling her at home.

I'm not sure if I wrote down Ken Clare's phone number correctly.  It is 420-5656.

Have a wonderful day,

Hey to all of our Prayer Warrior Friends,

We are asking all of our friends to please pray for our friends Darrel and Bren Marie Bohatec.  Darrel just called us last night and said that Bren has asked for a divorce after 8 years of marriage.  He has been on disability for about 1 year now due to major back surgery.  She owns Inner Beauty Academy which is a makeup artist school.  She travels alot to Florida , Texas and some Georgia to hold these classes.  This has shocked all of those who knows this couple.  They have two small children and had just bought a house over here in the new neighborhood Ramblewood Forest.  He was an associate pastor for a new church plant in Chesapeake and we know that the devil is trying to stop God's kingdom from advancing.  Darrel has an awesome testimony and makes an impact on the world for Christ.  Please pray for wisdom and that God will work this out.  Romans 8:28 and 29 is one of my favorite scriptures.

Love ya,

Bonnie

Hi Young,

I would like to pass on a few tips to keep your holiday from becoming something really scary!  Also, be sure to check out the recipe for Chocolate Spider Web Cake. It's a great treat for all of your monsters!

Halloween Safety Tips

Trick-or-Treaters
  • Carry a flashlight
  • Walk, don't run.
  • Stay on Sidewalks
  • Obey traffic signals
  • Stay in familiar neighborhoods
  • Don't cut across yards or driveways.
  • Wear a watch you can read in the dark.
  • Make sure costumes don't drag on the ground.
  • Shoes should fit (even if they don't go with your costume)
  • Avoid wearing masks while walking from house to house.
  • Carry only flexible knives, swords or other props.
  • (If no sidewalk) walk on the left side of the road facing traffic
  • Wear clothing with reflective markings or tape.
  • Approach only houses that are lit.
  • Stay away from and don't pet animals you don't know.
  • Parents

  • Make your child eat dinner before setting out.
  • Children should carry quarters so they can call home.
  • Ideally, young children of any age should be accompanied by an adult.
  • If your children go on their own, be sure they wear a watch, preferably one that can be read in the dark.
  • If you buy a costume, look for one made of flame-retardant material.
  • Older children should know where to reach you and when to be home.
  • You should know where they're going.
  • Although tampering is rare, tell children to bring the candy home to be inspected before consuming anything.
  • Look at the wrapping carefully and toss out anything that looks suspect.
  • Homeowners
  • Make sure your yard is clear of such things as ladders, hoses, dog leashes and flower pots that can trip the young ones.
  • Pets get frightened on Halloween. Put them up to protect them from cars or inadvertently bitting a trick-or-treater.
  • Battery powered jack o'lantern candles are preferable to a real flame.
  • If you do use candles, place the pumpkin well away from where trick-or-treaters will be walking or standing.
  • Make sure paper or cloth yard decorations won't be blown into a flaming candle.
  • Healthy food alternatives for trick-or-treaters include packages of low-fat crackers with cheese or peanut butter filling, single-serve boxes of cereal, packaged fruit rolls, mini boxes of raisins and single-serve packets of low-fat popcorn that can be microwaved later.
  • Non-food treats: plastic rings, pencils, stickers, erasers, coins.

  • Learn about keeping your trick-or-treat outing safe with  interactive quiz.

If the church can't go the full $300.00 than maybe I should call the trash collector and find out how much to just make an extra trip to pick up what we put on the curb. Or a junk collector might be less than $300.00 as well.    Please advise.

    Hi Eileen,
    thanks for the info

How do I access this  paperwork??

Can it be emailed or faxed to sylvia  and /or me?
I don't know when she is leaving for her trip

    my fax is 973-992-1885

I believe the assignment was an optional take home assignment
at the end of the course for all students to enhance their grade with extra credit points  if
they felt their performance in overall class assignments, tests, projects, etc.
they wished to improve.  My understanding was, at the time  that this
option was offered to Joseph, he was experiencing personal/family and work related  issues that impacted his overall performance in the class and was not in a position to meet the timely requirements to embrace the opportunity to complete the additional assignment.   I believe that is why Sylvia offered it now, as Joe found himself in a much more secure position personally and  professionally; and She realized that Joe had not had the opportunity to fulfill his exceptional potential at the time he took the course.

sylvia can  expound on this aspect...This is just my understanding and since I have had Joe for three courses I can concur with her rationale to leave this window open for him to have an opportunity to work towards his potential as a student and as a soon to be professional educator who has already demonstrated his educational abilities as a special education instructor and serves as an excellent representative for our  bloomfield college  teacher education program..

Hope this is helpful.   Look forward to hearing from anyone who can offer assistance with this matter.
    thanks!
    Carol

    Fwd: Recall

    ---------- Forwarded message ----------
    From: Tim B Coe <heatdoc@netzero.net>
    Date: Jul 16, 2007 5:16 PM
    Subject: Recall
    To: pastor@gmail.com

Though you would get a kick out of this, for those needing fixing.

    Subject: Global RECALL NOTICE

The Maker of all human beings is recalling all units manufactured, regardless of make or year, due to a serious defect in the primary and central component of the heart.
This is due to a malfunction in the original prototype units code named Adam and Eve, resulting in the reproduction of the same defect in all subsequent units. This defect has been technically termed "Subsequential Internal Non-Morality," or more commonly known as SIN, as it is primarily expressed.

    Some other symptoms include:
    1. Loss of direction
    2. Foul vocal emissions
    3. Amnesia of origin
    4. Lack of peace and joy
    5. Selfish or violent behavior
    6. Depression or confusion in the mental component
    7. Fearfulness
    8. Idolatry
    9. Rebellion

The Manufacturer, who is neither liable nor at fault for this defect, is providing factory-authorized repair and service free of charge to correct this SIN defect. The Repair Technician, Jesus, has most generously offered to bear the entire burden of the staggering cost of these repairs. There is no additional fee required. The number to call for repair in all areas is P-R-A-Y-E-R. Once connected, please upload your burden of SIN through the REPENTANCE procedure. Next, download ATONEMENT from the Repair Technician, Jesus, into the heart component.

No matter how big or small the SIN defect is, Jesus will replace it with:
    1. Love
    2. Joy
    3. Peace
    4. Patience
    5. Kindness
    6. Goodness
    7. Faithfulness
    8. Gentleness
    9. Self control

    Pastor,

I have a quick question.  This sounds like a dumb question and I want you to know that I am sending this out to 100 Pastors.  Some of you know and some of you don't know that I am a Christian film critic for www.christianhotspot.com .  I went and saw a movie the other day that to be honest, I loved.  It was the Harry Potter movie.  I know, I somewhat felt guilty and as I was writing my review and after talking to my brother, I felt that should be very careful about condoning a movie without offering a more Biblical perspective besides my view of apparent Biblical messages that I saw throughout the movie.  I am NOT equipped to put up a fight against the Harry Potter movie, however I can create a case for the awesome positive lessons in this latest movie.  I know that sounds wrong, and I am not even saying I am right, but I am saying I question myself enough to not publish a positive review without having someone else write a review as well.

My Question:  Would you be interested in going to see the new Harry Potter movie and then writing a review of the movie so that I can publish it next to mine.  I am guessing I will not get many or any takers, but if you could see where I am coming from, maybe that would help.  I have about 30,000 weekly readers that totally disagree with one another about the books and movies.  Personally I am in the middle.

Things to think about when writing the review:

Why is Wizard of Oz ok but Harry Potter is bad (Bad and Good Witch)

Why is Lord of the Rings ok but Harry Potter is bad (Gandolf is a Male Witch – a Wizard)

Why is Cinderella ok but Harry Potter is bad (Fairy God Mother = Good Witch)

Honestly I am not saying you have to give it a negative review.  I just want more honest perspective and one that is Biblically sound.  Does that make sense.

The reason:  I believe that when someone writes something to the Christian community, they are accountable before God for the content and for the Biblical merit.  I do not want to be even on smidgen wrong.

Please do not send me emails telling me how terrible I am for even seeing the movie in the first place. ( I get enough of that. ) I saw the movie at a Pre Screening as always and I will always review movies that kids are going to see, so that I can either dissway parents or encourage them.

    What are your thoughts?

    John

    Greetings to you,

God is good and He alone reigns supreme. I feel the presents of the Lord in the atmosphere and He is hovering over His people waiting for opportunities to bless them. I know that life is full of challenges and that things sometimes go wrong but God is the great deliverer and He will never fail such a one as you and i.

Be encouraged  in the spirit of  your mind and allow the anointing to flow in and through you. I am her in Atlanta following the calling of God on my life. I know that the God that i serve will never leave nor will He forsake me. I call those things that are not as through they were, i reach beyond the break and grab hold of faith. I will not be moved. Though he slay me yet will i trust in Him. Daily i will arise and give worthy praise unto His Holy name.

He is high and lifted up and my life is hid in him.Who am i that the Lord would
choose me? Who am i that He would save me. I am the ultimate wreck undone  yet His wonderful grace has extracted my sin and purged my heart. I am the anointed of God and the blood from the veins of Emmanuel flow though me.

Gos is doing wonderful things for you and i and though that it would be all together fitting to acknowledge Him as Lord of Lord and King of Kings. I don't know how but i believe the God is going to make changes in you situation starting today.

Stand firm and see the salvation of the Lord!

Your Fellow Servant in Christ Jesus,

    Bishop Keith L.Irions, Evangelist
